Multi-agency working

Professionals working together is key to supporting adults at risk of abuse of neglect.

The national analysis of Safeguarding Adults Reviews has found that the need for stronger communication, case coordination and multiagency risk management is a common theme in cases subject to review.

Multi-agency discussions should be considered a standard response when concerns are raised. To support effective multi-agency working, the H&F SAB has developed a template to guide multi-agency responses and support professionals in establishing shared responsibility and clear action plans.

Occasionally professionals may need to escalate concerns to established multi-agency panels within Hammersmith & Fulham. These panels have been established to support multi-agency responses where a person remains at high-risk despite previous interventions.

Visit the Hammersmith & Fulham Council website to learn more about the multi-agency panels operating in our borough, including the High-Risk Panel.
